Well, I suppose I have some catching up to do. We have been in the states for five weeks now and I admit I have been remiss in keeping you, the loyal reader, keyed into what we were doing. Not having internet seems like a decent excuse; but I could have walked to the nearest internet cafe and worked from there, I was simply enjoying the time off.
I thought about trying to get up to date story by story but figured that would never work as I would constantly be falling further behind as I took the time to write about what happened a month ago. So I figure I will get from the 15th of June to today in two recap essays, with just the highlights, and the accompanying pictures.
We stayed with my parents for the first week back in the States, at the house they were renting while waiting for theirs to be built. If Amy is going to survived in my haughty social circles, I felt that it would be best if she were immediately introduced to Wooster, Ohio’s High Society. We decided to host a wine tasting with some of my parent’s friends. I let Amy know that she would be scrutinized and that she should prepare her best outfit for the occasion.
